When silence and virtue characterize the relationship between two people, there is harmony. When silence and virtue live together in one person, there is perfection. Perfection is a possibility or there would be no word for it.

Wendy, you are so inspiring. As I looked into your photos I felt the silence, the grassy hills with the morning light shining on the swaying grasses, and I thought about what you say about virtue and the person.
Today a co-worker said to me that one must be in the precious present moment, and as I thought back now about the people I encountered over the day, it is true, within and from each person shines virtue, and the soul.

Thank you, Wendy, for pointing me to your April 11th post on Inner Beauty. When I read it, I had a sense of deja vu - I'm sure I've read this somewhere - and again it struck something deep within me.
I too spend a lot of time in nature when I can, it's like a drink of fresh water ... and yet how powerful to know that that beauty out there is really a reflection of our own inner beauty, which is why we recognize it and rejoice in it.
